Control

My recorded reference is "P Dev 75 p9 Self Mastery" - and I have no idea what my shorthand means!
I know the truth of of the quote though.
When people try to control me - I remember this principle and ask myself "Are they maybe neglecting to control themselves in trying to control me? I am free to choose how I want to live my life. I claim my right to make my own choices. Let me make my own decision now with as much graciousness and respect for them as I can feel and manifest."
When I feel myself wanting to control others I often pause and ponder "Am I forgetting my responsibility of governing myself? Is that why I feel the need to control this other beautiful person who has the right and responsibility to make their own choices?" Most times I catch myself and let the other person be themselves and learn as they need to or want to.

I came to check something on my computer and saw my brother Tim was on Skype. I checked in with him. He is in Cape Town. He sent me this gorgeous picture taken on Christmas Day - sunrise in the Karoo.

Bad Start... Good Finish!

Are you over committed and under satisfied?
You have to make sure you put your time into your purpose.
The church grew and they (the members) complained...
Learn to deal with problems properly.
I am going to stay devoted to my purpose...
Spend regular quality time with God every morning.
Busy. Busy. Busy. We wear it like a badge!
Christians are supposed to help people.
I am living with purpose.
I am living with passion.
Surely there is more to life than being busy!
We all need a good shake every now and again!
Ask yourself "Why?" on a lot of stuff you do and you will discover that you do a lot of things you don't need to do.

Life does not need to be as chaotic as it is."
